I'm a service designer, researcher & strategist with a knack for aligning and energizing internal teams and clients alike. I have an intuitive, perceptive, and adaptive approach to my projects. With experience mentoring and leading teams of designers, I work well with a variety of personalities and team dynamics.

I am an animal-shelter nerd! And have a strangely deep knowledge of the Animal Welfare industry and the Tools and Technology that support it. This experience has given me a unique skillset including working with diverse groups of people, driving value for nonprofits in a strategic and sensitive manner, and practicing design and innovation with a sense of calm and balance in a high-stress, highly-emotional environment. I am actively still involved in helping develop shelter technology that fits the progressive movements of animal welfare and volunteer and foster in my free time.

I co-founded a coffee-technology company. We set out to build mini home roasters for the coffee enthusiast and small cafes and shops. We received $20,000 in seed money from Georgia Tech's Create-X program. We ran 3 successful coffee shop locations on Georgia Tech's campus and around Atlanta for 3 years until we were bought by Docent Coffee. It was an amazing experience, and allowed me to understand the challenges of small business, how to pivot and quickly lift an idea off the ground, and now I know a lot about coffee, sourcing, roasting and brewing even though I don't drink coffee anymore :)
